I am a Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse and a Research Associate in the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University. I earned my PhD from Dartmouth College in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. My BA is from the University of Chicago, where I studied physics and philosophy.

I am an evolutionary anthropologist and behavioral ecologist who is broadly interested in the evolution of the human diet and its relation to life history and behavior. How do primates find, acquire, process, and distribute resources, and how do these processes influence social structure and organization?
